Another track season has come and gone. Snow is on the ground in Vancouver, and we’re taking time to look back on the year that has been.

This past summer, we hosted another fantastic event at Area 27 in beautiful Oliver, BC. Once again, we brought a couple cars up to take photos and videos in the stunning scenery throughout the trip. The drive to Osoyoos became rather eventful, after one of the support vehicles in the convoy suffered a flat. During the repair, an M4 key ended up in the wrong pocket, 30 minutes up the highway, leaving the car unwilling to move. Thankfully everything was sorted relatively quickly and our day was able to continue on without any harm done. The photos turned out great, and the travel day was a success.

Attendance at the track was great, and we had a couple of really fun days at the facility. What I like most, is that there were some new faces with us. Some first time track participants came along this year and that is always something special. https://area27.ca

When we saw that SneakerCon was returning to Vancouver, we knew we had to be a part of it. There has always been a crossover between fine automobiles and the fashion industry, and that has never been more true than it is today. There is no question that street wear brands such as Supreme, Jordan, Stussy, Yeezy, Bape and others are commonly found on drivers in their Lamborghini’s. Some people collect cars the same way others collect Jordans, so it only seemed fitting that we would be there too. There was an abundance of energy in the room, since the convention had been away since before the pandemic began. People were very interested in our Huracan STO and its outrageous wrap.

Our friends at DIPT and Vancity Original were kind of enough to help out with a beautiful prize pack full of merch and we added a big gift card to their store. One lucky person walked away with over $1000 in winnings from our booth.

Located near Osoyoos, BC, Area 27 is one of the premier racing facilities in all of Canada. It’s a 4.83km track, designed by Jacques Villeneuve, and is an absolute must-do for any motorsport enthusiast. We hosted our annual back-to-back days at Area 27 in 2021, and had a wonderful turnout.

It started with the drive out from Vancouver (highlighted in a previous blog post), and continued through 2 full days at the track, and a couple fun nights with clients and friends. The Okanagan is a breathtaking part of the country, and there is something pretty special about racing supercars next to vineyards.

We brought our Ferrari F430 Challenge, and enjoyed trying to set times in a purpose built race car. Action on the track was nonstop, and the cars in attendance ranged from track ready S2000’s all the way to modified Ferrari’s, Lamborghinis and McLaren’s. The skill level also varied as much as the cars on track. Some drivers in attendance were first timers, and thanks to some professional instruction, they quickly found themselves feeling at home on the track.

One of the great benefits as an auto enthusiast in British Columbia is having access to fantastic race tracks. Each summer we try to organize events at them all. This gives us an opportunity to invite clients to bring their cars, and whenever we can, we will bring some of our inventory to the event. For the 2021 event in the Okanagan, we decided to drive an 812 Superfast and a GT4 from our inventory. The focus of the trip was our two track days at Area 27, however the journey back and forth is probably just as fun. We invited one of the attendees to drive with us in his brand new Roma, so we could take some photos of the cars along the way. The pair of red Ferrari’s looked great out on the open road, and were getting lots of attention on the highway.

The highway to Osoyoos is scenic and has nice places to stop for food or fresh local fruit. It’s always nice getting a group together for a trip like this, especially for such a fun drive out of the city.
